FRESNO, Calif. - In an order entered March 6, a federal magistrate judge in California recommended approving a $255,000 settlement between Ensign U.S. Drilling (California) Inc., Chevron U.S.A. and Chevron Environmental Management Co. over Ensign's contribution to contamination at the EPC Eastside Disposal, after finding that the monetary amount is proportionate to Ensign's liability and that the settlement was reached in good faith (Chevron Environmental Management Company, et al. v.
